Support for schools and libraries
Since 2009, TALI conducts early-childhood teacher training workshops on a yearly basis in the cities of Xining and Lhasa. These workshops welcome Han, Hui and Tibetan teachers teaching in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan and the Tibet Autonomous Region. As kindergarten education is gaining ground in rural areas in the People's Republic of China, TALI's workshops provide these teachers with new teaching techniques and materials in Chinese and Tibetan languages to help them develop their kindergarten curricula. Highly experienced Montessori teachers and consultants from the United States travel to Xining and Lhasa to conduct these workshops.

Every year TALI
sends books, educational materials, sport goods, and art
supplies to schools, kindergarten centers, and libraries in Qinghai,
